Super-soft wiping fabric

The final hand-wipe of an intaglio plate by an experienced printmaker is a skill that is acquired over a period of time, but some artists prefer to use a soft wiping fabric for the same subtle control of the ink in the highlights. This gossamer-thin super-soft wiping fabric has been a great hit with both new and experienced printmakers in workshops we have given. It is 47 inches wide and sold by the yard and a couple of yards will last quite a while.
