Color Separation Negatives Photoshop script
Tired of spending anywhere from 15-60 minutes creating color separations on digital files? The process is tedious, error-prone and ends up completely destroying your color file.
We found the whole process of creating color separations for doing 3 and 4 color gum prints to be such a PITA that we figured that there has to be a better way. We are now offering a Photoshop Extendscript extension that makes the whole process literally as simple as clicking a button. And it doesn't alter your original file - it just creates 3 or 4 new ones!

This script can also add registration marks, and a border around your images from ½ " to 2-1/2" wide, and optional individual step wedges in the margins for each color. And it labels the separations with appropriate labels for the color channel it represents. For all but the ½" border options, the script creates an optional 5-step mini-stepwedge layer located in the same position on each separation so you can evaluate how all the stacked colors are affecting the color cast of the image. The script setup also allows you to increase the color saturation of the image before channel separation begins.

You will have a script that will do RGB (3 color separations), CMYK (4 color separations) and two bonus utility scripts: one that will add registration marks to any old image or a step wedge on one side if you aren't doing separations, and another that will allow you rename channels in ICC profiles. The base license will allow you to install it on two computers - for instance a desktop and laptop. It is platform agnostic and will run on Mac and Windows Photoshop installation.
